Scope of Work

The scope of the projects will include, but not be limited to, conducting physical site assessments, demolishing old and existing fences and gates, and other minor works, such as installing fences to existing infrastructure. It will further include all the processes involved in bringing about the successful completion of the projects to clients’ standards and industry best practices.

The scope of work entails supplying and installing security fencing to various facilities. The following security fencing will be used;

  • Galvanised Wire Fence and gates;
  • Standard Steel Wire Mesh Fence and gates;
  • Steel Palisade Fence and gates;
  • Steel Mesh Medium Fence and gates;
  • Low-Security Steel Mesh Fence and swing and sliding gates;
  • Medium Security Steel Mesh Fence and swing and sliding gates;
  • High-Security Steel Mesh Fence and swing and sliding gates; and
  • Electrical Gate Openers (Gate Motors).

The following services were provided:

  • Site establishment;
  • Site clearance and grubbing;
  • Demolishing of existing fences and gates for set aside for re-use or cart away;
  • Minor earthworks and site preparation, including removal of obstructions to the security fence routes;
  • Contract administration by a registered professional in terms of the built environment;
  • Technical investigations and assessments, surveying, and positioning of the security fences and gates in consultation with the stakeholders;
  • Supply and Installation of fencing, gates and construction of minor works where applicable;
  • Inspection, Testing, and Supervision of construction activities;
