  • Demolition of existing dilapidated and unsafe toilets;
  • Rehabilitate areas where the old, demolished toilets were situated;
  • Design new toilet facilities, including compliance with all required legislative requirements;
  • The contractor must follow the complete client’s design and approval process, i.e., all designs, SDPs, and
  • Detail drawings must be approved by the client or any other legislative body before construction;
  • Construction of new toilet facilities;
    Bulk earthworks, including retaining walls, etc;
  • De-sludge all existing pits and dispose of sludge at approved sites;
  • Repair and renovate existing toilets that can be salvaged, including cleaning them and making them safe for human use
  • Fencing around toilets that are to be built in unsecured schools.
  • Water services and harvesting, walkways and ramps according to standards, i.e., Boreholes and Water Tanks;
  • Removal and disposal of asbestos components where required. Note: Authorised persons/entities must handle and dispose of asbestos at appropriate disposal sites. •Stormwater management to ensure drainage compliance;
  • Sewer management systems, i.e., Septic Tanks, Soakways, etc.
