Construction of camping facility

Overnight camping facility to accommodate up to 60 campers

  • Provide 20 campsites/spots, each with one vehicle parking;
  • Ten additional parking spaces for day hikers/visitors;
  • Low-directional solar light fixtures are needed in the area to avoid light pollution;
  • Each camp area has as much privacy as other campers. Contractor to ensure prevention of tree falling;
  • Water point/standpipe at each camping area;
  • Provide gravel road/walkways to kitchen and ablution;
  • Assess existing water quality and install an additional high-level tank.

Ablution facility

  • Construction of flush toilets and showers for males and females in each block that will serve up to 60 visitors;
  • Provide disabled facilities;
  • Solar panels for indoor and outside lighting – fitted with occupancy/movement sensors;
  • Hot water through Gas heaters;
  • Provide anti-theft sanitary fixtures;
  • Septic tank – fully integrated sanitation strategy;
  • Laundry area with concrete wash troughs external to ablution;
  • Provide a cleaning store integrated into the ablution block;
  • Gas for hot water and cooking;
  • Communal Kitchen/Cooking area;
  • Construct a communal kitchen area appropriate for the number of campers;
  • Under-roofed space – large overhang to protect the interior;
  • Semi-open sides with mesh.

  • Provide vertical canvas at openings to
